Transformer Testers

Transformer Testers effectively measure the turns ratio, winding resistance, tap changers, excitation and polarity of power instrument and distribution transformers. Transformer Turns Ratio Test Set (TTR) are available in single and three phase configurations. Deviations in turns ratio readings indicate problems in one or both windings or the magnetic core. Transformer Ohmmeters are specifically designed to measure the DC resistance of magnetic windings.
