The Hollowstem Auger Kit is equipped with a 3-inch diameter auger barrel. Hollowstem auger kits provide the tools needed to auger up to 6 feet below ground surface and are suitable for soil, soil gas and groundwater sampling through a cased hole. A special hollowstem soil probe, 7/8-inch outer diameter by 24 inches long, with a slide hammer is included to allow collection of a soil sample through the auger. The gas vapor probes may be used through these augers telescopically. Bailers up to 1 inch in diameter may be used to collect groundwater samples. The Hollowstem Auger Kit includes: ~SDS Max Adapter ~Slide Hammer ~Flighted Lead Auger ~Flighted Extension ~Two 3-Foot Extensions ~Hard-Surfaced Tip ~Wrenches ~Nylon Cleaning Brush ~AMS Deluxe Carrying Case
